We have decided to refresh our branding to better reflect who we are and what we do. We’re excited to finally reveal our new brand name, website, look and feel, additional products, new pricing and more. It’s a big move but we believe it’s the right one and we’d like to explain our thinking behind it.
GeoSpark started out from Rockstart AI accelerator three years ago and has grown a lot since then. We’ve expanded our capital investment, number of employees, product catalog, revenue, and, most importantly, the number of happy customers. We know the rebrand is a major change but there are some things that will always remain the same - our focus on our customers and our core location technology.
Our technology made this name a natural fit. Our core solution is tracking users as they travel around the world, whether it’s a courier delivering a package, an employee going to work or a taxi driver finding their customer. We chose the name to reflect that no matter what path someone takes, our technology will support them along the way. Besides, it’s memorable and easier to pronounce and spell, which will make everyone’s lives easier.
We chose the domain roam.ai to reflect our more technical side - artificial intelligence-driven technology and analytics.

Changing our name to Roam.ai is a major change but that’s just the start. We’ve updated our core business strategy, introduced a tier-based usage pricing model, defined our mission, enriched our products, reestablished our visual identity and improved our dashboard to improve your experience.

We’re committed to offering developers and businesses of all sizes accurate and battery-efficient location technologies that ensure real-time personalized app experiences and support data-driven decisions. We want to empower people to create amazing, life-changing products powered by our location technology.
Introducing “Dynamic Location Tracking”
We’ve made a major improvement to our SDK! Our engineering team has been working hard to decrease battery consumption to nearly 0% for certain use cases. We’ve introduced a Dynamic Location Tracking technology with customizable Location Tracking Modes to make it easier for you to choose the right balance between battery use and frequency of location updates for your app.
Our new “Accuracy Engine”
Our team has also come up with an innovative solution to drastically increase location accuracy and enhance data quality. Our new AI-driven Accuracy Engine combines data filters, sensor fusion and IMUs to get precise and noise-free location data with an accuracy up to 5 meters.
Announcing “Pub/Sub Messages”
By introducing a pub/sub architecture we’ve created a faster, more efficient and flexible solution to power real-time experiences in your apps. You can send locations to your backend in realtime with either metadata or customizable JSON parameters. Subscribe to Webhooks, client and backend SDKs to stream your location data with no latency.

We’ve carefully redesigned our pricing to reflect our new product. Our new tiers fit the needs of individual developers, start-ups and larger businesses.
Our generous freemium tier gives you access to our core location features so you can test your location-aware solution with no commitment. As your business scales and you require more Location Updates and features, you’ll be able to upgrade your plan with the addition of volume discounts. Plus, you’ll have the option to receive a 15% discount if you commit to a yearly subscription.
In line with our new pricing model, we have redesigned our Billing Dashboard to give you a clear overview of your usage and spending. Easily view how many Location Updates you have left for the month, your current pricing plan and your overage fees. We’ve also made it even easier for you to change your pricing plan to suit your changing business requirements.
Last but not least, we’ve completely revamped our website. It’s got a fresh look and feel!
Our goal was a clean and consistent, professional yet fun design that ensures the best user experience. We’ve made sure our homepage reflects our up-to-date core location product offering. And, by introducing new products and use case pages, we improved the way you can find and learn more about our location SDK and APIs.
